Maintain a professional image and exhibit excellent customer relations to patients, physicians, and co-workers while adhering to Service Excellence Standards. Utilize pharmacy software to participate in workflow, assist in resolving medication-related issues, and maintain accurate documentation or charges for dispensed medications. Perform state-certified technician tasks under direct supervision, including compounding, prepackaging, and barcoding medications for dispensing. Accurately pull and refill controlled substances, follow sterile techniques for IV admixtures, and troubleshoot pharmacy printers and fax machines. Serve patients by gathering information, processing prescriptions, and investigating third-party payment issues. Maintain organization, cleanliness, and adequate supply stock levels while working assigned schedules in acute care, infusion, retail, or medication history areas.
