Pharmacy Technician

Utilize the electronic medical record system to generate reports for medication fill, check expiration dates, and assemble parenteral medications. Fill medication cassettes and labels, deliver medications to patient care areas, and maintain floor stock and Pyxis inventory. Pre-pack medications in ready-to-use formats and maintain equipment used for preparing and compounding medications. Requires high school diploma, pharmacy technician certification, and NYS license; hospital experience preferred.
