Job Summary

Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current licensure as required by state board where services will be provided (MD: Pharmacy Technician Student Permit or License; OH: Trainee License or Certified/Registered License; PA: Trainee or License; WV: Trainee or License)
- National Certification: PTCB or NHA OR 2+ years pharmacy-specific experience must be obtained within 15 months of hire
- Preferred: Associate degree or post-high school science education or graduate of a pharmacy technician training program
- Preferred: National Certification upon hire (PTCB or NHA)
- Experience in reading physician orders, preparing medications, delivering medications, and handling sterile IV/chemotherapy preparations
- Knowledge of standard pharmaceutical/medical terms, nomenclature, dosing calculations
- Supervision and training responsibilities for pharmacy technicians
