Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician - Billing Specialist in Charlotte, NC: responsible for processing customer bills and insurance claims, researching patient eligibility and benefit coverage, updating billing systems, handling patient inquiries, and supporting Medicare/Medicaid and Third-Party payer processes. Daily duties include claims adjudication, prior authorizations, data entry, generating reports, auditing documentation for audits and compliance with HIPAA, and collaborating across departments to meet service goals. Must have a High School Diploma or GED, state pharmacy technician certification/licensure, and at least 1 year of related experience; National Certification (PTCB) preferred. Strong attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, and proficient computer skills are essential.
