Job Summary
Deliver outstanding customer service to patients, providers, pharmacies, and pharmaceutical partners. Process medication refill requests and prior authorizations accurately through the EMR. Assist patients with enrollment in pharmaceutical assistance programs and track, monitor, and manage on-site medication samples. Respond to pharmacy inquiries regarding prescriptions, refills, and medication interactions, while handling patient calls related to medication questions, concerns, and provider messages. Build strong working relationships with pharmaceutical representatives and support physicians and office managers with administrative tasks as needed. This role requires an active Pharmacy Technician license, strong understanding of pharmaceutical concepts, and flexibility to travel to satellite locations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Active Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical concepts
- Strong understanding of medical terminology
- Strong understanding of insurance payor requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Patient-first mindset
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
- Flexibility to travel to satellite locations as needed
