Job Summary
Night shift Pharmacy Floor Technician responsibilities include filling daily drug orders, labeling, scanning, and preparing completed prescriptions for pharmacist verification. Duties also cover processing returned drugs, prepacking common meds, labeling blister cards, stocking and organizing workstations, pulling medications from storage, applying labels and ensuring scans are accurate, and alerting the pharmacist on-duty to any scan issues. Adheres to HIPAA and other government regulations; may require overtime, holidays, and weekends. Requires a High School diploma or equivalent, ability to read/write/speak English, and maintaining an active license (not required in NYS). Preferred: prior pharmacy technician experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Possess and Maintain a Clear and Active license. NOT Needed in the NYS
- Previous pharmacy technician experience (preferred)
