Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician - Advanced Medical Assistant role at Tri-City Cardiology based in East Mesa, AZ. Primary duties include processing faxed prescription refill requests, handling prior authorizations, informing providers and patients about medications, reviewing medication information and allergies, managing medication inventories, and coordinating with physicians, staff, and pharmaceutical reps across multiple locations. Requires knowledge of Erx, DEA regulations,cardiology-related formularies, and the ability to document medications and allergies, educate patients, and support sample medication distribution. Must have a High School diploma or GED and be a Certified Medical Assistant; travel between East Mesa, North Gilbert, and South Gilbert is required. Schedule is Full Time (5x8-hour days), with pay range $22.00-$25.00 per hour; benefits include medical, PTO, holidays, and retirement plans.
