Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician at HAC, Inc. responsible for assisting pharmacists with preparation, labeling, and delivery of medications in an employee-owned environment. Key duties include inputting prescription information into the Rx program, transmitting online claims, generating labels, managing inventory, processing insurance reversals, ordering stock, and ensuring compliance with state and federal drug laws. Requires HS Diploma/GED and a current Oklahoma Pharmacy Technician License (preferred) with licensure to be obtained within 30 days of hire; Phase I training within 30 days and Phase II within 90 days. On-site role based in Norman, OK, with emphasis on customer service, accuracy, confidentiality (HIPPA), and teamwork in a fast-paced retail pharmacy setting.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma/GED
- Current Oklahoma Pharmacy Technician License (Preferred)
- Obtain an Oklahoma Pharmacy Technician License within 30 days of hire
- Phase I Training must be completed within 30 days of hire
- Phase II Training must be completed within 90 days of hire
- Phase I Training must be completed within 30 days of hire
- Phase II Training must be completed within 90 days of hire
- Maintain license in good standing with Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy
- Strong computer and cash-handling skills
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
