Job Summary

Greet customers, answer questions, and receive prescriptions to check validity and process orders electronically. Fill prescriptions by selecting appropriate medications, measuring dosages, and resolving issues such as rejected insurance claims. Identify ways to increase medication adherence through 90-day supplies and synchronization. Sort, stock, label, and manage inventory for medications and OTC products, including ordering supplies. Use EHR systems appropriately and complete assigned administrative tasks like record-keeping. Comply with all security measures, quality standards, state and federal laws, and internal Code-of-Conduct policies. Report compliance problems appropriately. Maintain a current Indiana Pharmacy Technician license and five years of community pharmacy experience.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current Indiana Pharmacy Technician license
  • At least Five (5) years of community pharmacy experience preferred
  • Customer service skills
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Operate a multi-line phone system and other office equipment including printers, fax machines, etc.
  • Basic software skills (Microsoft Office, EHR, online sources, etc.)
  • All assigned Relias training

Desired Qualifications

  • Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred, but not required
