Job Summary
Lead pharmacy technicians by modeling processes and training staff on prescription compounding and inventory management. Enter patient information and prescription orders, interact with third-party plans to resolve adjudication issues, and profile orders under pharmacist supervision. Manage cash register transactions, reconcile daily cash and checks, and oversee OTC and RX inventory to meet budgetary goals. Deliver customer service through Relationship-Based Care while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Requires State of Colorado Pharmacy Technician Provisional Certification (PHATP) and proficiency with computer programs.
Required Qualifications
- State of Colorado Pharmacy Technician Provisional Certification (PHATP)
- Must be adept at typing and using various computer programs
- Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
- Must have working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English
- Must be HIPAA compliant
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred
