Job Summary
Pharmacy Technician role under direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, performing pharmacy services including preparing and distributing pharmaceuticals, inventory control, compliance audits, customer service, and maintaining pharmacy records. Requires current state certification or intern license and at least one year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician or equivalent training; hospital experience preferred. Required Qualifications
- Current Pharmacy Technician certification from the state board of pharmacy or intern license from the state board
- One year previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or student in accredited college of pharmacy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Detail-oriented, able to meet strict time frames
