Job Summary
Assists pharmacists in dispensing and filling medication orders; fills unit-dose med carts for 24-hour fill; assists in the IV room when assigned; performs daily rounds to distribute medications; transports medication carts; fills IV medication bins and stocks Pyxis and floor stock; checks in and stocks Cardinal orders and other vendors; replenishes expired Emergency Boxes; assists in training new Pharmacy Technicians.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician from an accredited course required
- Registered Pharmacy Technician within the state of NJ required
- Minimum 1-2 years hospital and/or retail experience
