Job Summary
Assist the pharmacist in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders while performing technical duties for handling, packaging, and delivering pharmaceuticals. Provide patient care services to neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Demonstrate proficiency in two or more specific pharmacy function areas including production/distribution, oncology, inventory management, narcotics, nursery, surgery, compounding, and home care/outpatient. Requires current Georgia Pharmacy Technician registration and one year of experience; PTCB or NHA certification preferred. Schedule is 6AM-6PM.
Required Qualifications
- Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia
- One (1) year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
