Job Summary
Assist the pharmacist in filling, compounding, and dispensing physician orders while performing technical duties for handling, packaging, and delivery of pharmaceuticals. Demonstrate proficiency across two or more specific pharmacy function areas including production/distribution, oncology, inventory management, narcotics, nursery, surgery, compounding, and home care/outpatient. Provide patient care services to neonates, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Requires current Georgia Pharmacy Technician registration and one year of experience. No on-call or weekend requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician in the State of Georgia
- One (1) year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
