Job Summary
Maintain the ordering and stocking of medications and clinical supplies while preparing and mixing medication for the Oncology-Hematology department. Act as a liaison between physicians, clinical coordinators, and drug representatives regarding medications and orders. Manage Drop Ship stock, communicate with vendors to ensure drug availability, and prevent overstocking. Keep the medication and mix room neat and orderly, maintaining hood cleanliness and ensuring yearly inspections are completed. Work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, providing PRN coverage on a part-time basis.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Pharmacy Technician training program
- Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (e.g., PTCB or equivalent) as required by local regulations
- Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and medication dispensing procedures
- Ability to pass background checks and comply with healthcare regulatory requirements
- Must have previous experience with medication mixing
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology

Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working as a Pharmacy Technician in a healthcare setting
- Familiarity with pharmacy management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Additional certifications or continuing education in pharmacy-related fields
