Pharmacy Tech III

Support outpatient pharmacy operations by assisting the pharmacist with prescription services across retail and specialty pharmacy settings. Perform duties under the supervision of the Pharmacist-in-Charge in accordance with organizational policies and state board rules. Manage dispensing, billing, inventory, and sterile or non-sterile pharmacy operations as assigned. Maintain current Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) status and register with the Iowa and/or Illinois Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire. Demonstrate advanced proficiency to train and mentor others, documenting competency completion and providing feedback. Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and a valid driver's license. Obtain immunization training within six months if assigned to community pharmacy locations. Work rotating shifts for 40 hours weekly at MercyOne Genesis, a two-time national Top 15 Health System serving the Quad Cities region.
