Job Summary
Assist the pharmacist in the total prescription filling process, including data entry, inventory monitoring, counting, labeling, ordering, stocking, filing, and selling of prescribed and OTC products. Manage OTC merchandising and help health care providers and patients in person and by phone by answering questions and referring them to the pharmacist when appropriate. Comply with state and federal drug laws, Kettering Health policies, and procedures. This role supports our mission to promote and restore health within a not-for-profit system of 14 medical centers and 120+ outpatient facilities serving southwest Ohio.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician
- 2 years retail pharmacy technician experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
