Job Summary
Pharmacy Tech II in a retail/acutecare setting under a pharmacist; performs advance duties including pediatric dose drawing/compounding, non-sterile compounding, and TPN; handles medication orders, kit/tray preparation, automated dispensing cabinets, floor stock, and controlled substances; accurate charge entry and timely delivery of meds; proficiency with pharmacy tech responsibilities, inventory management, and pharmacy software/automation; participates in training and QA tasks, maintains regulatory compliance (DEA, State BOP), and supports customer service and workflow efficiency. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months of Pharmacy Tech experience; certification as a Pharmacy Tech with the State Board of Pharmacy is required. Location is Columbia, SC with in-person work responsibilities and standard shift variations.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent; OR post high school degree
- Six (6) months experience as a Pharmacy Tech
- Certified Pharmacy Tech with the State Board of Pharmacy
