Job Summary
Assist the pharmacist in the total prescription filling process, including data entry, inventory monitoring, counting, labeling, ordering, stocking, filing, and selling of prescribed and OTC products. Manage OTC merchandising and support health care providers and patients in person and by phone, answering questions and referring to the pharmacist when appropriate. Comply with state and federal drug laws, KHN policies, and procedures. This PRN role at Kettering Health Dayton involves varied shifts and requires a nationally certified technician with two years of retail or inpatient experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician
- 2 years retail or inpatient pharmacy technician experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
