Job Summary
Pharmacy Tech-Certified supports pharmacists by assisting with medication preparation and labeling under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. The role involves a broad range of technical tasks within the Pharmacy Administration umbrella (inpatient and outpatient pharmacies, 340B operations) and requires strong communication, computer literacy, customer service, math, time management, clerical skills, and familiarity with pharmacy systems. Eligible candidates include those with an Oregon Pharmacy Technician license or/pharmD intern license in good standing, or completion of a Medical Pharmacy Technician course. The position emphasizes accurate data entry, teamwork, and adherence to laboratory and safety protocols as part of a high-volume pharmacy environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current unencumbered Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician License OR Currently enrolled first year PharmD student in good standing with an accredited pharmacy school and current unencumbered Oregon Board of Pharmacy Intern license
- Successful completion of Medical Pharmacy Technician course preferred
- Pre-employment/post offer drug screen
