Job Summary
Assists pharmacists in medication preparation and labeling activities. Performs a broad range of technical support functions under the supervision of a registered pharmacist. Responsibilities include applying knowledge of diseases and drugs, entering prescription orders into the pharmacy management system, and supporting pharmacy operations in inpatient and outpatient settings as part of SHS pharmacy services. Requires effective written and oral communication, clerical accuracy, data entry, and strong customer service to support pharmaceutical care across the SHS service area.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current unencumbered Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician License
- Currently enrolled first year PharmD student in good standing with an accredited pharmacy school and current unencumbered Oregon Board of Pharmacy Intern license
