Pharmacy Tech Cert/PRN - Inpatient Pharmacy (5879)

Prepare, package, and compound medications including IV admixtures, unit doses, and sterile products using aseptic techniques. Calculate, weigh, and document drug orders while maintaining perpetual inventory and managing stock rotation. Deliver patient medications to nursing units, process cashier functions for Medplex patients, and interpret physician orders for accurate dispensing. Maintain clean work areas, report equipment malfunctions, and ensure compliance with safety and confidentiality policies. Provide coverage for absences and assist in student orientation. Requires National Certification, Tennessee license, and one year of experience.
