Job Summary
Back-End Pharmacy Support staff will receive product deliveries, pull and stage product for distribution, rotate stock, and coordinate activities with delivery drivers. The role focuses on order fulfillment including packaging and dispensing of medication, reviewing delivery orders and bins for accuracy, and coordinating stock rotations. Additional tasks include preparing finished prescriptions, performing physical inventories of medication, scanning pending medications for delivery, and sorting baskets for delivery by facility units, location, and delivery times. The position operates within Omnicare, CVS Health, and supports care in skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and chronic care settings; candidates should have pharmacy technician certification/licensure as required by state law and a verifiable high school diploma or GED. Part-time schedule with anticipated 25 hours per week and eligibility for a range of benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
- One (1) or more years of experience in a pharmacy, retail, or medical setting
- Education: Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
