Job Summary
Perform all duties under the supervision of a registered pharmacist while filling prescriptions in compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies. Provide advice and consultation to customers and healthcare professionals regarding prescription knowledge, drug therapy, and health-related products. Implement company initiatives to increase pharmacy profitability and actively participate in clinical services, including patient counseling, over-the-counter medications, immunizations, medication therapy management, and point-of-care testing. Requires full-time enrollment in an accredited pharmacy program and a valid state intern license if required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited school of pharmacy
- Must hold a valid state intern license if required by the state of employment
- Ability to readily and positively adapt to changes in schedule specifications, and work priorities as the business and customer needs demand
- Ability to cooperate with others and work as part of a team
