Job Summary
Conduct patient counseling, fill prescriptions in compliance with laws and policies, and provide consultation on drug therapy and health products. Implement company initiatives to increase pharmacy profitability while actively participating in clinical services, including over-the-counter medications, immunizations, and point-of-care testing. Work under the supervision of a registered pharmacist or designated preceptor to manage disease state and medication therapy management. Requires full-time pharmacy student enrollment, valid state intern license, and ability to adapt to schedule changes. Required Qualifications
- Must be enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited school of pharmacy
- Must hold a valid state intern license if required by the state of employment
- Ability to readily and positively adapt to changes in schedule specifications, and work priorities as the business and customer needs demand
- Ability to cooperate with others and work as part of a team
