Job Summary
Conduct patient counseling, fill prescriptions in compliance with laws and policies, and consult customers and healthcare professionals on drug therapy and health products. Manage over-the-counter medications, immunizations, point-of-care testing, and disease state management while actively participating in clinical services. Perform all duties under the supervision of a registered pharmacist or designated preceptor. Implement company initiatives to increase pharmacy profitability and adapt to changing schedule specifications and business priorities. Requires full-time enrollment in an accredited pharmacy program and a valid state intern license if required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited school of pharmacy
- Must hold a valid state intern license if required by the state of employment
- Ability to readily and positively adapt to changes in schedule specifications, and work priorities as the business and customer needs demand
- Ability to cooperate with others and work as part of a team
