Pharmacy Student Intern role supporting Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacists with medication preparation, dispensing, and clinical tasks appropriate for a student of pharmacy; duties include assisting with patient medication histories, vaccine administration under supervision, renal dosing, antibiotic dosing, drug information queries, hazardous/non-hazardous sterile compounding, and contributing to pharmacy workflow improvements under pharmacist supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Education Qualifications Accepted: enrolled as a P3 or P4 (Pharmacy School Year 3 or Year 4) at an accredited school of pharmacy
- Must obtain Pharmacy Student Intern registration with the Kansas State Board of Pharmacy
- Required Experience: 2 years; Completion of pharmacy school year 1 and year 2 will satisfy all work requirements
