Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of the registered pharmacist, perform a variety of tasks according to policies and procedures while maintaining proficiency in pharmacy technician specialty practice. Complete duties aligned with the Pharmacy Technician Essential Job Functions and state and federal laws. Achieve Certified Pharmacy Technician certification within 12 months of hire or enroll in a Doctorate of Pharmacy program. Work full-time rotating shifts at St. Johns Hospital in Springfield, IL.
Required Qualifications
- Illinois: At least 16 years of age and is attending or graduated from high school or GED equivalency
- Wisconsin: At least 18 years of age and has graduated from high school or GED equivalency
- 1 year pharmacy experience
- Licensed or registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of practice
- Certified Pharmacy Technician certification must be achieved within 12 months of hire OR enrolled in a Doctorate of Pharmacy program
