Job Summary

Supervise pharmacy services in assigned patient care areas for neonatal, pediatrics, and women's health populations, ensuring all medication-related patient and provider needs are met. Work proactively as a team member to provide optimal pharmaceutical care and demonstrate dedication to continual quality improvement. Provide the highest quality patient care while collaborating with physicians, nurses, and hospital staff. This role is a full-time, first-shift position (Monday through Friday) with intermittent evening and weekend accountability at Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. The position requires an accredited Doctor of Pharmacy degree or a Bachelor/Master's degree with ten years of experience, along with Nebraska licensure and AHA Basic Life Support certification.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited Doctor of Pharmacy degree program
  • Bachelor or Master of pharmacy degree with 10 years of experience
  • Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the State of Nebraska or jurisdiction in which pharmacy practice is conducted
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program

Desired Qualifications

  • American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited postgraduate year one residency
  • Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties (BPS) certification
