Job Summary
Deliver and pick up patient orders for medications, supplies, and equipment safely and timely. Perform designated activities including cleaning infusion control devices, processing enteral supply orders, and managing hazardous waste disposal. Assist in organizing delivery routes, preparing daily distribution sheets, and conducting in-home patient supply inventories. Obtain patient signatures, complete delivery paperwork, and report to the Operations Supervisor. Assist in picking, assembling, and packaging internal orders while maintaining vehicle inspections, emergency supply kits, and warehouse inventory areas. Participate in on-call schedules and attend in-services related to IV therapy. Maintain a professional relationship with patients and referral sources while adhering to all compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- Must possess the ability to multi-task and frequently change direction
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
- Maintain automobile insurance coverage
- Have access to a reliable automobile
- Possess basic organizational skills
- Be able to communicate well with patients and other employees
- Be able to read a map
- Dependable in attendance and job performance
- Flexible with work schedule
- Must have valid driver's license and safe driving record
- Must be able to regularly stand, walk, sit, climb stairs, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds
- Close vision and the ability to adjust focus
- Must successfully complete a drug screen prior to employment
