Job Summary
Collaborates with an inter-professional team to promote timely access to medications, serves as front line subject matter expert on outpatient pharmacy services and prescription insurance benefits, and coordinates financial assistance and prior authorizations. Responsible for coordinating with stakeholders to ensure timely dispensing, reviewing prescriptions for dispensing timelines, resolving insurance-related issues, and identifying programs to reduce patients' out-of-pocket costs (e.g., manufacturers’ assistance, copay assistance, vouchers). Delivers exceptional customer service to patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals, and provides routine feedback on program impact to site and organizational leadership. Performs duties related to these responsibilities in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1-3 years of relevant experience, required
