Pharmacy Sales Technician

Process prescription information including patient and prescriber searches, drug selection, insurance billing, and basic problem resolution. Retrieve medications from inventory, create and apply prescription labels, and place drugs into containers. Accept customer data for new and refill prescriptions, obtain refill authorizations where permitted by state law, and complete related paperwork. Reconstitute oral liquids where permitted by state law. Maintain the Pharmacy department by keeping it clean and assist with inventory management processes including order review, returns, restocking shelves, and physical inventory preparation.
