Job Summary
The Pharmacy Resident is responsible for providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care through participation in clinical pharmacy services, medication therapy management, patient counseling, and interdisciplinary activities. This role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize medication use and patient outcomes, supporting medication distribution in accordance with safety standards, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. Residents must maintain accurate documentation and demonstrate professional accountability. Candidates must hold a Pharm. D. and be licensed or eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in North Dakota.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in the state of ND, or has pharmacy intern license in state of ND.
- Must have a Pharm. D. degree from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy within 90 days of their residency.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in general health system pharmacy operations including but not limited to unit dose and I.V. admixtures.
