Pharmacy Purchasing Technician

Job Summary
Pull and process outdates, receive daily orders using a hand scanner, and restock shelves while organizing prepacks. Order packaging and hand pack supplies for packing machines, manage punchbacks, and handle partials and backorders. Order through SureCost and other secondary vendors, including specific orders for Dosis and TCGRx machines. This role requires Pharmacy Technician Certification upon hire, with previous pharmacy experience preferred. Candidates must possess strong organizational skills, knowledge of prescription terminology, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Required Qualifications
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (Required upon hire)
- Previous pharmacy experience preferred
- Computer knowledge
- Customer service skills
- Telephone etiquette skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Available to work overtime when needed
- Available to work weekends when needed
- Knowledge of medical language and abbreviations
- High school diploma or GED
