Job Summary
Conduct pharmacy production activities by inspecting, labeling, and repackaging medications, ensuring each package receives correct paperwork, envelopes, medications, and shipping labels before distribution. Assist with onboarding and training new team members on production processes, safety expectations, and quality standards while serving as a subject matter expert for pharmacy workflows. Perform visual inspections of patient-bound medications, maintain inventory supplies, and promote collaboration by sharing best practices across the team. Work on only one order at a time to ensure accuracy, escalate issues for continuous improvement, and maintain a clean, safe work environment. This role offers opportunities to develop leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills within a growing healthcare operations environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
- General PC knowledge
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good visual acuity
- Ability to read, compare, and differentiate data accurately
- Ability to review small medications, labels, and bottles for extended periods of time
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday
- Demonstrated ability to assist others, share knowledge, and support team success
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability while performing different roles throughout a shift
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload
