Job Summary
Manage and maximize the financial performance of the pharmacy department by monitoring the pharmacy budget, controlling pharmacy inventory, and minimizing unauthorized overtime. Accountable for all aspects of pharmacy practice within state and federal laws and corporate policies, including performing necessary staff training and development. Provide excellence in customer service while managing prescription pricing and generic utilization. Implement corporate approved clinical services and demonstrate core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.
Required Qualifications
- Accountable for all aspects of pharmacy practice, within the limits of state and federal laws and corporate policies
- Manage and maximize the financial performance of the pharmacy department by monitoring the pharmacy budget
- Minimizing or altogether avoiding unauthorized overtime
- Performing necessary pharmacy staff training and development
- Providing excellence in customer service
- Managing prescription pricing and generic utilization
- Controlling pharmacy inventory
- Providing/implementing/participating in corporate approved clinical services
