Job Summary
Ensure proper record maintenance by collecting allergies, contact information, and payment methods while handling inbound calls for prescription inquiries and triage. Conduct outbound calls for welcome messages, refill scheduling, and physician office follow-ups. Perform benefit investigations, coordinate timely medication delivery, and direct clinical inquiries to pharmacists. Act as a liaison with healthcare channels to provide timely medication access, maintaining strict HIPAA compliance. Maintain patient confidentiality and utilize operating systems to manage medication adherence and reimbursement services. Requires Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician certification, bilingual English/Spanish proficiency, and minimum two years in customer service or one year in specialty pharmacy.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician
- Bilingual – English and Spanish
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic computation skills
- Strong knowledge of medical and pharmacy terminology
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Suite
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a customer service setting or minimum of 1 year in a specialty pharmacy setting
- Ability to sit for a minimum of (7) hours
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 20lbs
- Ability to multitask
