Job Summary
Pharmacy Patient Care Coordinator providing high-quality customer service to patients with chronic/rare illnesses. Responsibilities include processing orders via fax/mail/phone/email, handling inbound/outbound calls regarding medication, coordinating patient care and shipment scheduling, verifying patient and payment information, notifying pharmacists of changes in patient condition, resolving claims/complaints, documenting interactions, and upholding compliance. Role requires strong communication, multitasking, organizational skills, and collaboration with pharmacists and care teams to optimize patient outcomes. On-site position in the Tampa Bay area with duties spanning order processing, patient inquiries, and coordination of pharmacy services.
Required Qualifications
- CPhT OR 2yrs of experience in similar role required
- Minimum two years medical or pharmacy experience or equivalent experience
- At least 1yr in a call center type environment or similar customer service role
