Job Summary
Remove out of date and expired medications using proper company procedures. Perform, under direct supervision of a Pharmacist, the preparation and filling of prescriptions, including non-auto counted drugs. Label bottles and prepackaged items accurately while replenishing canisters with consumables. Operate semi-automatic cabinets to fill customer orders and maintain production rates. Train and mentor new team members, report errors or incidents to the Pharmacist on duty, and escalate system issues. Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to all policies, laws, and regulations including HIPAA. Start at $22/hour with 10 vacation days and comprehensive healthcare.
Required Qualifications
- Eligible to obtain registration as pharmacy technician with the applicable state board of pharmacy
- At least 18 years of age
- Up to 10 pounds (lifting requirement)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in drug handling protocols and best practices in a time-bound fulfillment order process
- High school diploma or equivalent
