Job Summary
Enter and verify medication orders in a computerized system with high accuracy, conduct basic drug calculations, and investigate pharmacy claim denials while staying current with Medicaid regulations. Track unpaid claims, generate reports for management, and provide excellent customer service in line with company policies. Assist with medication preparation and dispensing under Pharmacist supervision while supporting additional pharmacy tasks as directed. This role offers ongoing training, career growth, and advancement opportunities within a closed-door pharmacy team dedicated to long-term care and senior living clients.
Required Qualifications
- Active Minnesota Pharmacy Technician License
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Pharmacy Technician license as required by state
- Experience in a pharmacy setting
- Medical terminology
- Ability to operate a computer
