Job Summary
Pharmacy Navigator supports pharmacists with dispensing and processing prescriptions, verification of patient and insurance information, and coordinating prescription delivery. Responsibilities include medication dispensing assistance, prescription processing, inventory management, inter-facility communication, patient support and education, adherence monitoring, and assisting with financial assistance and insurance coverage reviews. Requires 1+ year of pharmacy-related experience (bachelor's degree program preferred) and pharmacy technician certification is preferred. Proficiency with pharmacy software and EHRs, strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of pharmacy-related experience
- Bachelor's degree program preferred
- Pharmacy technician certification preferred (e.g., PTCB) or state certification
- Strong communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical products and terminology
- Experience with pharmacy software systems and electronic health records
- Attention to detail and confidentiality
- Ability to triage and coordinate with pharmacists
