Job Summary
Oversee store-level pharmacy operations including prescriptions processing, inventory control, regulatory compliance, and customer service to achieve optimal outcomes. Lead and develop the pharmacy team, implement and monitor programs (security measures, immunizations, clinical programs), manage budgets and performance metrics, ensure compliance with Federal/State regulations and company policies, and provide focused leadership to ensure a positive, high-performing, customer-focused store culture. Maintain accurate pharmacy records, respond to audits, and stay current on pharmacy laws and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (Required) in Pharmacy or related field
- Pharmacy License (in good standing) required in the state of operation
- Two years' experience as a pharmacist
- Immunization Certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules, pharmacy laws, rules, and guidelines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong management, organization, attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead a team and work well with associates of all levels
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- Bilingual skills helpful based on demographic region
