Job Summary
Direct pharmacy and operations functions to ensure effective service delivery while overseeing compounding, dispensing, and clinical monitoring in accordance with USP 797, USP 800, and state Board of Pharmacy regulations. Prepare prescriptions and solutions accurately, conduct patient and drug assessments to identify drug-related problems, and revise patient care plans. Manage direct reports through hiring, training, performance reviews, and strategic planning, while participating in controlled substance security and serving as a drug information resource for the sales force. Maintain on-call coverage as needed and interface with physicians and referral sources. Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D), or R.Ph. with appropriate clinical experience
- Applicable active state licensure
- Post graduate training
- Minimum 7 years Pharmacist experience, preferably direct compounding
- Efficiency in CPR +/Care Tend
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
Desired Qualifications
- Specialty pharmacy or home infusion experience preferred
