Job Summary
Direct pharmacy and operations functions to ensure effective services, compounding, dispensing, and clinical monitoring in accordance with USP 797, USP 800, and State Board of Pharmacy regulations. Oversee staff completion of professional assignments, including hiring, training, performance reviews, and payroll approval. Prepare prescriptions and formulations accurately, conduct patient and drug assessments to identify drug-related problems, and interface with physicians and the sales force. Maintain controlled substance security and participate in an on-call rotation covering as needed. Manage team goals, strategic planning, and conflict resolution while ensuring all practices meet local, state, and federal licensing standards.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D), or R.Ph.
- Applicable active state licensure
- Minimum 7 years Pharmacist experience
- Must be willing to participate in an on-call rotation (2 weeks per month)
- Must be licensed as a Pharmacist in the State of MA
Desired Qualifications
- Specialty pharmacy or home infusion experience
- Post graduate training
- Efficiency in CPR +/Care Tend
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
