Pharmacy Manager

Job Summary
Oversee daily pharmacy operations, including safe medication dispensing, inventory management, and regulatory compliance with Florida Board of Pharmacy and DEA requirements. Provide direct supervision, coaching, and scheduling to pharmacy staff while supporting medication management initiatives and patient counseling. Evaluate drug therapy concerns through prescription reviews and clinical interventions to improve patient outcomes within a Federally Qualified Health Center environment. Ensure HIPAA compliance, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and represent the organization through community engagement and outreach activities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy
- Active Florida Pharmacist license
- Five (5) or more years of successful experience as a practicing pharmacist
- Ability to lift 20 lbs. regularly and 30–50 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Direct exposure to computer screens
- Possible exposure to contagious or infectious diseases
- Ability to travel between Premier Community HealthCare sites for coverage, meetings, or operational support as needed
- Level 2 background screening through the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
Desired Qualifications
- PharmD
- Prior experience working in a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)
- Experience with a 340B pharmacy program
- Ability to obtain and maintain Epic certification and complete annual compliance requirements
- Demonstrated alignment with Premier Community HealthCare's mission, vision, and values
