Job Summary
The Pharmacy Manager-PIC role involves overseeing daily prescription processing, managing pharmacy personnel, developing efficient workflows, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Responsibilities include inventory management, patient order resolution, communication with staff, monitoring operational metrics, and implementing new pharmacy programs. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of pharmacist experience, a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in pharmacy, and a registered pharmacist license in the relevant state.
Required Qualifications
- Registered as a Licensed Pharmacist
- Multiple active unrestricted state licensures or eligibility to become licensed in multiple states
- Minimum of 5 years of pharmacist experience
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in pharmacy
Desired Qualifications
- Supervisory or management experience
- Retail or mail-order pharmacy experience
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality guidelines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Understanding of 340B programs
