Job Summary
Supervise and manage the performance of Nuclear Staff Pharmacist(s) and all pharmacy operations, including complete P&L and budgeting responsibility. Monitor and control operational expenses, oversee the preparation, production, and quality control of radiopharmaceuticals, and establish corrective actions for deviations. Develop relationships with hospitals, clinics, and healthcare providers to ensure client-focused service and retain existing clients. Become the Radiation Safety Officer if required, obtaining licensure and assuring compliance with all regulatory commitments, including Radiation Safety, DOT Regulations, and corporate policies. Implement and manage an onsite Quality Assurance Program while following and improving policies for radiopharmaceutical preparation. Work a variety of schedules including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Active pharmacy license in state(s) of practice with all licenses held in good standing
- Ability to become NRC or state Authorized User Status designation in the company's states of operation
- Manual dexterity for manipulating small items
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Ability to withstand frequent ground and air travel
- Ability to analyze situations, administer medication, set priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Effective organizational skills
- Commitment to continuous learning
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work a variety of schedules including evenings, holidays, and weekends
Desired Qualifications
- Registered Pharmacist with 3+ years of pharmacist experience preferred
- Must possess excellent interpersonal communication and leadership skills
