Job Summary
Oversee daily supervision of support staff and coordinate pharmacy activities for the overnight shift, ensuring safe and cost-effective medication use. Schedule, train, and manage staff while enforcing service standards and monitoring compliance with federal and state regulations. Evaluate performance, conduct assessments, and take periodic calls to assist in department management. Maintain awareness of professional trends and collaborate with management to implement policies and upgrade automated dispensing systems.
Required Qualifications
- NYS Pharmacist License
- Registration BS Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Pharmacist License-NYS
Desired Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy
- Advanced Degree
- Residency in Hospital Pharmacy Practice
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Word
- Extensive knowledge of PowerPoint
- Extensive knowledge of Excel
