Job Summary
Supervise and provide guidance to staff while managing hiring, performance, and the financial and operational success of the department. Prepare, dispense, and control medications accurately and timely, ensuring adequate inventory levels for patients and counseling them on new medications with positive, proactive interaction. Create awareness and educate customers through public relations events, resolve patient and doctor issues, and review budgeted sales and net contribution. Identify and report sales opportunities, review costs, and utilize Healthwatch Pharmacy systems to build the business using community-based marketing strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy
- Class A Pharmacists license
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in retail environment
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
- People management skills
- Ability to motivate and coach others
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong sense of professionalism
- Proven ability to build the business using community based marketing strategies
- Strong problem solving skills
- Experience formulating and executing action plans
- Personal computing skills
- Knowledge of Healthwatch Pharmacy systems
- Candidates who are 18 years or older
