Job Summary
Manage and maximize the financial performance of the pharmacy department by monitoring the budget, controlling inventory, and optimizing prescription pricing and generic utilization. Oversee all aspects of pharmacy practice within state and federal laws and corporate policies, including staff training, development, and customer service excellence. Implement corporate-approved clinical services while minimizing unauthorized overtime. Demonstrate core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety throughout daily operations.
Required Qualifications
- Accountable for all aspects of pharmacy practice, within the limits of state and federal laws and corporate policies
- Manage and maximize the financial performance of the pharmacy department by monitoring the pharmacy budget
- Minimizing or altogether avoiding unauthorized overtime
- Performing necessary pharmacy staff training and development
- Providing excellence in customer service
- Managing prescription pricing and generic utilization
- Controlling pharmacy inventory
- Providing/implementing/participating in corporate approved clinical services
